Transfer Domain(s) to new Host with No Down Time !

The first step is to find a new host you wish to join. Make sure not to cancel with your old webhost until your ready to terminate the account..

 

Now that you have two hosting providers -- the old and the new, Login to your new host control panel and get your instant access id or see if you can get a dedicated IP assigned to your domain - you can upload your entire site using the instant access id or dedicated IP in place of "host name"

If you choose to make OccHosting your new host we will transfer your entire site over free !

 

When your web files have been successfully moved over to the new hosting account,
you can change your domain names DNS.

DNS changes usually take approx 24 hrs to complete.

Dont forget to setup your email accounts on the new server by logging into your control panel and selecting the eMail icon - I would suggest using the same user name and password if possible.

Once your domain(s) DNS has changed over to the new host, - you can safely cancel your old host account with no downtime.
